Products to be processed are blended in the batching system and transferred to the system’s product
balance tank. From the product balance tank, the product is pumped through the raw regenerator
where it is pre-heated. From the raw regenerator, the product is pumped with a high pressure piston
pump through the final Spiratherm TM heaters to sterilizing temperatures. After heating, the product is
held for a timed period prior to sterile regenerator pre-cooling, remote valve homogenization and final
cooling to the desired packaging temperature. Product then flows to either an aseptic/extended shelf
life surge tank or to the packaging equipment.
